Heads up, Central Ohio! Trick-or-Treat is changing for some communities.
Two municipalities in Licking County announced that they’re moving their trick-or-treat date up to today Wednesday, October 30 instead of Thursday.
Johnstown made the decision to move the holiday due to predicted rain and wind on Thursday night. Trick-or-treat in Johnstown will still occur from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., but on Wednesday instead. They made the announcement on social media but not everyone was happy about the change.
Additionally, Hebron has also moved the Beggar’s Night celebration to Wednesday from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Just like Johnstown, Hebron made the decision to move the event due to weather.

Hebron’s Halloween Bash will also be moved up to Wednesday, following Beggar’s Night from 7:15 to 9 p.m. at Canal Park. There will be food trucks, a family-friendly DJ, bounce houses, and a bonfire!
