Getaway Brewing, the latest establishment from Seventh Son Brewing owners, is set to open in Dublin in April.
Collin Casotre, Travis Spencer, and Jen Burton are co-owners of Seventh Son Brewing and Antiques on High, and their newest venture is set to be another success. Getaway Brewing is expected to open in early April at 104 N. High Street in Dublin’s Bridge Park.
If you’ve ever been to Antiques on High, you’ve probably seen the 1985 Dodge Getaway camper van that inspired the new brewery’s name. The shared love of travel among the co-owners will be evident, not just in the branding of Getaway Brewing, but in the house beers they’ll have that are inspired by international flavor profiles.
The planning for the new brewery started back in 2019. But when the funding came together, the pandemic hit in full force, causing some delays. Not to be deterred, the trio began the search for a location on the northern side of Columbus.
After teaming up with local developer Crawford Hoying, the new brewery has found its home at Bridge Park in Dublin. The Getaway will have 3,900 square feet of interior space and 1,000 square feet of outdoor space that will include a greenhouse-style patio with great views of Indian Run and the Scioto River.
Of the 36 taps at The Getaway, 10-12 will be Getaway originals. Fans will also see a few Seventh Son and Antiques on High favorites.
After the year we’ve had, I think we can all agree that The Getaway sounds pretty freaking great right about now. You can follow The Getaway on Instagram or check out their website here.
