Renderings Of The Parkside On Pearl Development Are Looking Gorgeous

A dormant Italian Village development is coming back to life.

A new plan for Parkside on Pearl, a building planned for Pearl and Hubbard streets, was presented to the Italian Village Commission.

Although the commission won’t meet until November, it may be worth getting just a little bit excited about this project. The design submitted showcases a mixed-use, 8-story building. There will be 51 parking spaces, one floor of office space, and 37 apartments throughout the building.

While I’m sure all of the apartments will be lovely, the top-floor penthouse units are particularly interesting, with mezzanines and balconies overlooking the Short North. Can you imagine the vibes during big Short North moments like the Pride parade?

The Columbus Architectural Studio, who submitted the design, is responsible for some pretty amazing projects around the city. Their renovation of the Historic Columbus Dispatch building is nothing short of eye-catching and they even found a way to make the Ohio Chamber of Commerce a super cool place.

There isn’t an exact timeline for the project yet, but you can bet that we’ll all be keeping an eye on this one!
