Attention wine lovers: ALDI has finally brought their much-loved Wine Advent Calendar to the United States.
On November 7, the wine calendar will hit the shelves here in the U.S. If you don’t know about the ALDI advent calendars, let me give you a little background info.
The calendar is just like a traditional advent, but instead of chocolate, you’ll be treated to wine. 24 mini-bottles will be waiting for you, one for each day of December leading up to Christmas.
Each advent calendar contains the following:
2 x Prosecco Extra Dry, Italy
2 x Chardonnay, Australia
2 x Chenin Blanc, South Africa
2 x Sauvignon Blanc, New Zealand
2 x White Zinfandel, U.S.A.
2 x Cabernet Sauvignon, Australia
2 x Pinot Grigio, Italy
2 x Malbec, Argentina
2 x Shiraz, Australia
2 x Red Blend, Italy
2 x Merlot, Chile
2 x Sauvignon Blanc, Chile
The wine calendar will be on sale for $69.99 starting November 7, and they will sell out, so be sure to plan accordingly. In addition to the wine calendar, ALDI will also be selling a cheese calendar, featuring 12 kinds of imported cheese for $12.99.
Due to their popularity, there is a limit of one calendar per customer.
