Columbus is such a fantastic place to be a foodie.
We’ve got so many incredible spots to grab a bite to eat and naturally, we’ve all got our favorites. But the best part about living here is that something new and exciting is always opening up, giving all of us a chance to expand our palates and our list of favorite spots.
It’s been a tough year on restaurants all around, especially those who had to delay openings due to the pandemic. If you’ve been itching to try something new, I suggest checking out one of these delicious options.
Doña Martha is a native of Guanajuato and she’s serving up her family recipes at Martha’s Fusion Kitchen. The restaurant has a variety of dishes on the menu, including homemade gordita, salsas, ceviches, Guanajuato style pizza, and more. Martha’s Fusion Kitchen offers a daily lunch special and their eclectic menu has something for everyone.

Ray Ray’s Meat + Three
The latest venture from the owners of Ray Ray’s Hog Pit is Ray Ray’s Meat + Three. Located in Granville, the new restaurant focuses on a simple menu, with smoked meats and three sides. They’ve also got a great option for vegetarians in their Nashville hot cauliflower burnt ends.

Běndì Wok N’ Bar
As a South Side resident myself, I was pretty damn excited about the opening of Běndì Wok N’ Bar on the edge of German Village. The restaurant serves up a variety of Asian dishes and they also have a great cocktail menu. You can read more about my experience at Běndì Wok N’ Bar here.

This Hawaiian-themed restaurant serves two Hawaiian staples, poke and makai. Poké consists of marinated seafood, usually served over sticky rice with vegetables and sauces. In addition to the yummy food, the restaurant is also serving up craft cocktails from the full bar.

Modern Southern Table at Budd Dairy Food Hall
Modern Southern Table started back in 2014 in the food court of the Colony Square Mall in Zanesville after owner Daisy Lewis competed in and won the Food Network’s “Food Court Wars”. The restaurant is new to the Columbus market but it’s already made a big impact. The menu includes a variety of comfort food options, but no matter what you get, treat yourself to some cornbread.

Galla Park Steak
Galla Park Steak perfectly pairs a modern American steakhouse with a chic entertainment venue. Enjoy the music from the DJ while you sip on craft cocktails and enjoy a truly delicious meal.

Falafel Kitchen at North Market Bridge Park offers an all-vegetarian, falafel-centric menu that is fantastic. In addition to falafels, you can grab crunchy salads, homemade pickles, and delicious tahini sauce.
