After decades of serving Central Ohio families, Magic Mountain Fun Center East has announced that it will permanently close following its final day of operation on Sunday, July 5, 2026.
Located at 5890 Scarborough Blvd., the East Side attraction has long been a destination for miniature golf, go-karts, arcade games, birthday parties, and group outings.
“It has truly been a privilege to bring fun, laughter, and lifelong memories to so many families throughout the years,” owner Hank Woodburn said in the announcement. “We are incredibly grateful to the guests, employees, schools, churches, businesses, and community organizations that have supported us over the years.”
Woodburn also thanked the community for supporting events like the park’s annual Easter egg hunts, birthday celebrations, and other local gatherings.
“While we are saddened to say goodbye, we will always be thankful for the memories we’ve created together,” he said.
The announcement did not include a reason for the closure.
Guests have until Sunday, July 5 to visit the park one last time. Magic Mountain is also encouraging customers to redeem any outstanding arcade tokens, prize tickets, Groupons, gift certificates, promotional certificates, and other unused offers before the park closes.
The company closed its announcement by thanking the Columbus community for its support over the years.
For anyone who grew up spending an afternoon on the go-karts or celebrating a birthday at Magic Mountain, there’s still a little time left to make one more visit before the doors close for good.
