Jackie O’s On Fourth Plans To Open This Fall

Construction has officially started at Jackie O’s On Fourth.

The brewery’s ambitious renovation at 171 North 4th Street has had people excited since it was announced one year ago. With the help of Columbus firm, Design Collective, on the design of the space and Lincoln Construction on the actual building, Jackie O’s has big plans.

The tentative opening date for the inside bar and outdoor patio is September 2022, and we can’t wait.

The new space will include the existing 4,500 square foot brewery, a 5,000 square foot public space, a private event space on the second floor, and a huge, 8,000 square foot patio.

In the 5,000 square foot public space, patrons will find a bar, retail store, and a space for a future kitchen. The massive patio has been designed as an urban green space. A portion of the patio will be covered, offering a year-round outdoor area for customers.

While all of the construction is going on, the On Fourth carryout beer store will be open, selling all of your favorite Jackie O’s favorites.

“We plan to embrace our ‘sustainably crafted with purpose’ mission by including a 60 barrel (1800 gallon) fermentation vessel on the mezzanine level for rainwater collection, sustaining the native plants featured throughout the patio,” shared the brewery on Facebook. “Additionally, we have partnered with Third Sun Solar to install a solar array on-site. Third Sun Solar, an Athens-based company, previously installed the 298-panel array on the production brewery roof in Athens!”
