At the end of last month, a company called Sidecat was approved for state tax incentives that total $37.1 million dollars. The Dispatch is reporting that their sources have informed that Facebook will be the company behind the $750 million data center.

Facebook is expected to announce official plans for the project sometime next week. The data center is projected to open in 2022 and will sit on a 345-acre site off of Beech Rd, south of SR 161.

The center is expected to create 50 jobs with an annual salary of $80,000 and more than 1,000 construction jobs.
