A brand-new mixed-use development called Cosgray Commons is back in the spotlight as the Dublin Planning & Zoning Commission takes another look at the ambitious project later this month.
Cosgray Commons is shaping up to be a massive addition to Dublin’s landscape. Spread across 44 acres of currently vacant land near the Route 161 and Cosgray Road roundabout, the development would bring together housing, office space, retail, a hotel, and plenty of green space. Basically, it’s a little bit of everything.

The project, submitted by the architecture and design firm NBBJ, first made waves last summer.
Now, with updated plans and fresh renderings, it’s ready for an informal review on January 23. This review is a chance for the city’s planning staff to provide initial feedback, so nothing is set in stone just yet.
Here’s what we know about the proposal: the development will feature over two dozen buildings, including apartments, townhomes, office space, and retail. There’s also room for a hotel and conference center, a grocery store, a nature center, and a central park area with trails and green space. The plan includes more than 3,000 parking spaces spread across garages and surface lots.

Specifics include:
One of the standout features of Cosgray Commons is the central park running through the site, designed to connect the community with its surrounding natural beauty.

Located near Ohio University’s Dublin campus and other local landmarks like SportsOhio and Costco, the site is in a prime spot for something this bold. The updated submission was filed on December 26, and we’ll get a better idea of its future after the January 23 meeting.
We’ll be keeping a close eye on Cosgray Commons as it moves through the planning process. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting addition to Dublin’s ever-evolving community. If you’d like to see the plans in full, head over to dublinohiousa.gov.
