The thing I love the most about this city is that no matter where you find yourself, you’ll be able to find good food.
Although I live in downtown Columbus these days, I originally hail from the southwest side of the city. I grew up in Galloway, but my high school was located in Grove City (Go Comets!) and I spent a lot of time there in my wild youth. Back then, we mostly stuck to chain places like Waffle House and Chipotle, but a lot has changed since I left.
In addition to some of the iconic staples in town, newer restaurants have popped up that are seriously upping the food game in town. We’re going to explore the must-try spots around Grove City, so we can turn them into places we can’t wait to go back to.

Dragon Donuts
Details: I’m fully on board with the creative donut trend that is happening around the world right now. Dragon Donuts are some of the best around. The place gets its name from a painfully cute story about the owner Josh introducing himself to his stepson as Dragon instead of his real name. The story is almost as good as the donuts. They have all sorts of unique flavors, guaranteeing that you’ll find the perfect dough treat.
