Yappy Greek

via Facebook

About: Eating at Yappy Greek is sort of like going to a friend’s house. It’s casual and inviting, and the menu is pretty self-explanatory. If you don’t know what something is, don’t hesitate to ask the staff. They are fantastic. One of my favorite things about Yappy Greek is that you can get 5 gyros for $27. That’s fun for the whole family right there.

Eat Greek

via Facebook

About: With daily specials that include free kids’ meals and free baklava, I’m sure I don’t have to really sell the amazingness of Eat Greek too much. They have three locations throughout central Ohio and one more on the way, so I don’t want to hear any excuses about how far you’ll have to go to try it out. Also, please get the dolmadakia, aka stuffed grape leaves. You can thank me later.

Loops

via Facebook

About: Craving a hot dog and a gyro? Head to Loops. Started by brothers who were missing their Chicago home, they decided to bring that unique blend of flavors to Columbus. The menu is Greek-inspired, offering some traditional dishes like their classic gyro. But going to Loops is about embracing the adventure, so try something interesting like a Gyro Roll.

Anna’s Greek Cuisine

via Facebook

About: Anna’s passion for creating incredible Greek food started when she was a child in Greece. She learned how to make customers happy working at her family’s gyro place on the OSU campus, and she hasn’t stopped since. There are so many delicious things on the menu at Anna’s that we could sit here all day talking about it, but I’ll try to narrow it down. Visit the restaurant on a Saturday so you can have the Saturday Special, which is Baked Lamb Shank served over your choice of Greek spaghetti, rice, or mashed potatoes.
Address: 7370 Sawmill Rd, Dublin, Ohio 43235

The Olive Tree Mediterranean Cafe

via Facebook

About: You’ll find two of my favorite international cuisines on the menu at The Olive Tree: Greek and Lebanese. If you’ve never had Pastitsio, it’s basically Greek lasagne and no one does it better than The Olive Tree. Okay, maybe your grandma, but seriously, no one else.
