10 Places To Find Furniture In Columbus With Deals So Good You’ll Feel Like You’re Stealing

As an avid HGTV addict, I am all too excited to furnish a home one day. Finding the perfect couch to pair with a rug and coffee table. Discovering seemingly pointless nicknacks that will make for great decor. Getting a dresser that is able to contain all of my clothes. I can’t wait. While I am looking forward to Ikea Columbus opening this summer, putting together furniture isn’t for everyone. It takes a lot of time and a lot of patience. Which are two things I never seem to have enough of. If you prefer to take home your furniture assembled, but you can’t fit robbing a bank into your schedule, you need to check out these furniture and decor stores in the 614.

Get thrifty. Literally. With many locations around Columbus, Volunteers of America is a great place to look for furniture if you’re just looking to find stuff for your college apartment. But who knows? You could find a hidden gem and snatch up that super trendy end table before anyone else gets their paws on it. (And yes, this couch is TOTALLY straight out of “Austin Powers.” Shagadelic!)

Yard Sales, Garage Sales, and Trash Picking

One man’s trash is another man’s treasure, am I right? Don’t worry. I’m not talking actual dumpster diving. As warm temeratures come to Central Ohio to stay, the people of Columbus are going to start their spring cleaning. That means it’s time to hop in your buddy’s truck or SUV and cruise through neighborhoods looking for garage and yard sales. Or, better yet, those coffee tables sitting out at the curb waiting for bulk pickup. So it has a couple of water marks and the finish is all funky. Nothing a fresh coat of paint can’t solve.
