One of the most exclusive homes in the city has officially hit the auction block. A rare two-story penthouse inside the iconic LeVeque Tower is up for bidding, with the auction opening at $580,000.
Located on the 36th and 37th floors of the historic skyscraper at 50 W. Broad St., Unit #3602 is one of only three penthouses in the building. It’s also the only one with a full west-facing view, which means sunsets over the Scioto River and arguably one of the best seats in the city for Red, White & BOOM! every summer.
The 2,096-square-foot condo features two bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, two gated parking spaces, and a private storage unit. The residence underwent a full renovation in 2017, and the current owners, who purchased the home in 2022, have invested another $150,000 in upgrades, including additional improvements completed in 2024.
The penthouse blends modern luxury with the Art Deco character that has made the LeVeque Tower one of Columbus’ most recognizable landmarks for nearly a century.
Built in 1927 and designed by architect C. Howard Crane, the skyscraper opened as the American Insurance Union Citadel and was once the fifth-tallest building in the world. After an extensive restoration completed in 2017, the building now houses residences, hotel rooms, restaurants, offices, and event spaces.

The penthouse also benefits from a 100% tax abatement through the end of 2032.
