The Decorative Arts Center of Ohio is turning 25, and its signature fundraiser is coming back this summer to mark the occasion.
The DACO Gala returns July 11 in Lancaster, bringing together fashion, food, and philanthropy for what organizers describe as “an unforgettable evening of fashion and philanthropy” at the Decorative Arts Center of Ohio.
Each year, the gala serves as the organization’s largest fundraiser, supporting the programs that keep arts education and exhibitions running throughout the year. That includes school programming, community partnerships, and ongoing preservation of the historic space itself.
“With a purchase of a DACO Gala ticket, guests can look forward to a show-stopping runway presentation, craft cocktails and curated cuisine from local culinary partners, a vibrant atmosphere filled with art, music and community, and a celebration of the people and partners who make DACO possible,” organizers said in a statement.
This year’s runway lineup has now been announced, featuring designers Tracy Powell, Aspen Grazier, Logan Baldauf, Kaia Armstrong, and Casey Immel-Brown. Each will present collections during the evening’s fashion showcase, a centerpiece of the gala that continues to grow each year.

Tickets will be released in phases.
DACO members have first access, which is already ongoing. That’s followed by a discounted early-bird window from May 16 through May 31, and finally, general admission sales open June 1 and run through the day of the event.
While the runway show is a highlight, the broader goal of the evening remains consistent.
The DACO Gala helps fund exhibitions, education programs for students of all ages, community partnerships that expand access to the arts, and preservation efforts tied to one of Ohio’s cultural spaces.
As organizers put it, the evening is more than just a celebration. It’s what helps keep DACO’s work going year-round.
The Decorative Arts Center of Ohio is located at 145 E Main St, Lancaster, OH 43130. It is open Wednesday-Sunday and admission is free. For more info, head over to decartsohio.org/visit.
