Columbus Is Getting an All-You-Can-Eat Sushi & Seafood Spot With 200+ Dishes

Columbus, prepare your stretchy pants.

A brand-new all-you-can-eat seafood spot is about to land on the Northwest Side, and it’s bringing a seriously stacked menu with it. Umi Hotpot Sushi & Seafood Buffet is opening its first Ohio location on April 2, and yes, it’s exactly what it sounds like.

We’re talking more than 200 dishes served daily, spanning everything from sushi and sashimi to hot pot, ramen, and a whole lot of seafood in between. If your ideal dinner involves multiple trips to the buffet and a plate that gets progressively more chaotic each round, you’re in the right place.

The lineup is kind of wild.

Snow crab legs? Check. Lobster? Yep. Prawns, butter-baked whole crab, and even braised oxtail are all part of the mix. It’s the sort of place where you go in with a plan and immediately abandon it the second you see what’s out.

Umi Hotpot Sushi & Seafood Buffet isn’t new to the buffet game, either. The chain already has more than 50 locations, mostly across the Northeast, and this Columbus opening marks its first foray into Ohio.

Once the doors open, hours will run from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday and Sunday, with slightly later nights until 10:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. The new spot is located at 1841 West Henderson Road in Upper Arlington.

No matter what you’re loading up your plate with, don’t be surprised if there’s a bit of a crowd when they open.
