The World’s Longest Indoor Mountain Bike Trail Is Right Here In Ohio

Looking for a unique weekend adventure? We’ve got just the thing.

Back in 2004, one of the coolest places in Ohio officially opened their doors, and they’ve been a popular destination for mountain bikers around the country ever since.

Ray’s Indoor Bike Park has over 160,000 square feet and every single square foot is full of exciting twists and turns. Ray’s was built to make older riders feel young again and for younger, less experienced riders to gain confidence and skills on a bicycle.

At the park, riders of all skill-levels will be be able to zoom around the trails, practicing all sorts of valuable mountain biking terrains. When visiting the park, there are a few things that you should know. Although there are bike rentals available, visitors are encouraged to bring their own mountain bikes when possible.

Normally, Ray’s provides helmets, but since COVID-19, all guests are required to bring their own. Helmets are mandatory so don’t leave home with out it! Face masks are required (full face bike helmets don’t count) and guests will need to keep their distance from other patrons while visiting.

For first time visitors specifically, Ray’s encourages guests to call ahead and ask any questions they have, that way they can be as prepared as possible for riding on the courses. Ray’s also has a fantastic FAQ section on their website that will be a must-click for anyone looking to plan a visit.

Throughout the park, visitors will find trails for beginner riders and advanced professionals, and everyone in between. There are directional trails that are flat and easy and in sections where the obstacle may be too advanced for you, it’s perfectly acceptable to hop off and walk your bike for that section.

The sections are clearly marked but the staff at Ray’s is always nearby to answer any questions you may have. Rental bikes are $18 and can be rented for both children and adults.

Ray’s is open Monday-Friday from noon to 10 p.m. and Saturday-Sunday from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Ray’s Indoor Bike Park is located at 9801 Walford Ave, Cleveland, OH 44102. For more information, please click here.
