Worthington’s Most Iconic Building Is Getting a Wolf’s Ridge Makeover

Wolf’s Ridge Brewing is leveling up again, this time by moving into one of the oldest and most beloved buildings in Central Ohio.

The downtown brewery has just announced plans to open a second location inside the Worthington Inn, breathing new life into the 183-year-old landmark while preserving its historic character.

The Inn has seen a lot since 1831.

It’s been a mansion, a ten-cent diner, a post-fire Victorian showpiece, and a fine dining institution that held its ground for decades. Now, it’s getting a new chapter. One that swaps the white tablecloths for Wolf’s Ridge’s signature mix of inventive food, craft beer, and easygoing hospitality.

The team behind Wolf’s Ridge says their goal is simple: honor the history, serve great food and beer, and make the Worthington Inn a gathering place again. “Our vision is to celebrate the culture and spirit of Worthington with every bite, sip, and guest experience,” they shared in their announcement.

Renovations are underway, with plans to open in spring 2026.

Expect a tavern-inspired design, a comfortable atmosphere, and the kind of attention to detail that’s made Wolf’s Ridge a downtown staple since 2013.
