Next weekend, there’s an incredible vintage and antique market going on.
The Springfield Antique Show & Flea Market is one of the best places to get your hands on vintage and antique items around. The market is held nine times throughout the year at the Clark County Fairgrounds, but twice a year, it’s truly something spectacular.
The Extravaganza is a semi-annual event and this year’s spring event will take place May 20-22 with thousands of vendors. At times, the Extravaganza can feel just as much like a festival as a market, with a variety of food trucks, live music, and even beer and wine stands.
At the market, you can truly find anything, from pottery to vintage accessories to home decor. It’s highly recommended that you come prepared with a way to get your goods around with you while you are shopping. Most visitors bring wagons or small carts.
General admission tickets are $10 per day and can only be purchased in-person at the gate. Admission to the Extravaganza is cash only and the market suggest that shoppers bring a mix of cash and card to be on the safe side, as vendors vary.
The extravaganza is held at the Clark County Fairgrounds and if you’ve never been before, you will notice one thing right away: the fairgrounds are arranged like a wagon wheel. You will definitely want to grab a program when you enter the market so you can navigate the booths with the help of a map.
The Springfield Antique Show & Flea Market is located at 4401 S Charleston Pike, Springfield, OH 45505. For more information about the Spring Extravaganza, you can follow The Springfield Antique Show & Flea Market on Facebook or visit their website.
