Guess Who’s Back? An Iconic Steakhouse Returns to Columbus

Smith & Wollensky, the iconic steakhouse known for its top-tier USDA Prime dry-aged steaks and award-winning wine list, is making a grand return to our city.

They’re setting up shop in the Hyatt Regency Columbus Hotel, smack dab in the heart of the Arena District. This spot is perfect, connecting diners to the Greater Columbus Convention Center, Nationwide Arena, and the vibrant Short North Arts District.

After a thorough search for the ideal spot, Smith & Wollensky is thrilled to have found a home that has it all.

Their return signifies a commitment to our community, adding to the city’s economic and cultural renaissance.

“Smith & Wollensky has always held a special place in the hearts of greater Columbus diners,” said Nathan Evans, Brand President of Smith & Wollensky Restaurant Group. “We were deeply missed by the community when our previous venue closed at the end of our 20-year lease. Now, we are excited not just to serve our loyal guests again but to be part of the fabric of downtown and the vibrant Arena District. We look forward to contributing to the city’s growth and offering elevated dining experience that complements the spirit of Columbus.”

The new Smith & Wollensky is all set to deliver the top-notch service and quality you remember.

Expect their famous USDA Prime dry-aged steaks, sourced from Double R Ranch and Snake River Farms, hand-butchered and char-broiled to perfection.

The new digs will feature both indoor and outdoor spaces, with a combined capacity of over 300 seats. Think three private dining rooms, a large U-shaped bar, and their signature on-site butchery.
