Have you been dreaming of dashing through the snow in a one-horse open sleigh?
Well, I can’t help you there, exactly, but how does a two-horse open sleigh sound? Pretty fun, right? That’s the exact experience that Ma and Pa’s cabin in Burton, OH is offering. From now until March, a winter wonderland is calling your name. So pack up the car, gather your warmest clothes, and get ready for a mini-road trip to a magical destination.
Every winter, all winter long, Ma and Pa’s Cabin hitches up the sleighs to take visitors out on a magical ride. You’ll be all snuggled up while you ride around the property, through woods and fields, before coming back to the cabin for a warm fire, Ma’s cookies, hot chocolate, and maple coffee.
All of the rides are private and by reservation only, so it gives the experience a very exclusive feeling. You can book sleigh rides on Saturday and Sunday, as well as some weekdays. Reservations are only accepted a week in advance, based on snow conditions.
Couples sleigh rides start at $75 and family pricing is $25 for adults, $15 for kids 11-16, and $12 for kids 5-10. Each sleigh ride includes Maple Coffee or Hot Chocolate w/Whip Cream and a cookie.
If there isn’t snow, never fear, because there’s a carriage you can take a ride on instead.
