This weekend, art lovers and holiday shoppers alike can head down to the Short North Arts District for this year’s Holiday Hop.
Holiday Hop activities will kick off at 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 4 with hours for galleries and businesses varying throughout the day.
Several Short North Arts District galleries, including Marcia Evans Gallery, Sharon Weiss Gallery, Sherrie Gallerie, and Studios on High Gallery, will feature smaller works that make amazing gifts for the art lover on everyone’s shopping list.
Attendees can tour galleries to find gifts and enjoy anticipated art shows, including “Small & Wonderful” at Hammond Harkins Gallery and “All we went through was for nothing” at Sean Christopher Gallery Ohio.
The Short North Arts District Holiday Trail is the perfect way to support local businesses and to get a little reward for yourself in the process. Shoppers who complete the Holiday Trail by making five purchases at participating businesses will receive $10 in District Dollars, the Short North Arts District’s universal e-gift card that can be redeemed at any participating Short North Arts District business.
Holiday Trail cards and stickers are available at participating businesses. To see a full list of participating businesses, visit ShortNorth.org/HolidayTrail. The Holiday Trail runs through Dec. 31, and any earned District Dollars must be used by Jan. 31, 2022.
