If your ideal Saturday involves iced coffee in one hand and a questionable vintage lamp in the other, clear your schedule.
The annual Short North Yard Sales return on Saturday, June 6, bringing more than 140 sales to neighborhoods throughout Victorian Village, Italian Village, Harrison West, The Circles, and surrounding areas. Running from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., the event has become one of the largest neighborhood yard sales in Columbus, and one of the best opportunities all year for treasure hunters.
Part of the fun is that you never really know what you’ll find.
Sure, there are plenty of the usual yard sale staples: furniture, home décor, books, clothing, kitchen gadgets, and household goods. But a quick glance at this year’s listings reveals everything from vintage Levi’s and vinyl records to kayaks, Pokémon cards, houseplants, handmade pottery, antiques, artwork, and even an airplane rudder.
Several sales are turning the day into a full-on neighborhood event. You’ll find kids running their own mini businesses, local artists selling prints and handmade goods, charity fundraisers supporting organizations like Friends of Goodale Park and Columbus Squirrels Rugby Club, and plenty of opportunities to grab a snack while you shop. A few sellers are even offering hot dogs, lemonade, and baked goods alongside their treasures.
The event spans multiple neighborhoods, making it easy to spend the entire day wandering tree-lined streets, discovering hidden gems, and maybe picking up something you definitely didn’t know you needed until five minutes ago.

A few pro tips from the organizers: bring cash, carry a tote bag or backpack, and don’t be afraid to negotiate.
Early birds will get first dibs on the best finds, while bargain hunters may score bigger deals later in the afternoon. Parking is available throughout the area, including street parking, garages near Goodale Park, and plenty of scooter and bike options for getting between sales.
And if you’re participating as a seller, don’t haul unsold items back into storage. A Volunteers of America donation truck will be parked near Goodale Park collecting leftover goods at the end of the day.
It doesn’t really matter if you’re looking for vintage furniture, unique collectibles, a new plant baby, or just an excuse to spend a beautiful Saturday exploring some of Columbus’ most walkable neighborhoods. The Short North Yard Sales are worth adding to your weekend plans.
