Looking for the perfect long weekend adventure?
This President’s Day weekend, head north to Medina. This picturesque small town is hosting one of the best winter festivals in Ohio: the Medina Ice Festival.
The annual festival features a variety of ice carving and completed sculptures, as well as food and activities for the whole family.
The festival puts small-town cheer on full display. Various businesses compete to win the sculpture contest, with the prize being the right to lord the win over the other businesses all year long!

If you’re going to make a whole weekend out of your visit, you might as well take in some other sites in the area.
Castle Noel is a massive Christmas castle where you can party like it’s December 25th year-round. In the same building, you and the fam can swing over to Alien Vacation Mini Golf, where you can putt-putt your way through alien landscapes.
Oh, don’t forget to grab a bite to eat in charming downtown Medina while you explore the art sculptures.
The Medina Ice Festival runs February 18-21, 2022. The fest is free to attend. For more info, visit mainstreetmedina.com.
