This Magical Christmas Castle Is The Perfect Way To Spend Time With The Family

Grab your winter coats, pack your bags, and hop in the car. We’re going to a Christmas castle.

Landoll’s Mohican Castle is one of my favorite castles in Ohio (yes there are multiple) and they’ve gone all out for the holiday season. The spectacular display called Christmas at the Castle: a Kingdom of Lights, is straight-up magical. You can stroll through the property, admire the beautifully illuminated castle, enjoy holiday music and have dinner in the restaurant.

With 150,000 lights, outdoor Christmas trees, and holiday tunes, Christmas at the Castle is pretty darn magical! If you’ve been extra nice this year, you might even get some face time with the big man himself. Santa Claus will be at The Pavillion to meet kids of all ages every Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. through Christmas Eve.

If you work up an appetite while you’re walking around, you can head into The Copper Mug, the restaurant onsite at the hotel. While they won’t be offering any specific holiday meals, you can find plenty of seasonal grub to warm you up.

Although you can’t make reservations for the restaurant, you can reserve your tickets for the light display in advance. Admission to Christmas at the Castle: A Kingdom of Lights is $8 per car on Friday and Saturday nights, and free Sunday-Thursday.

The light display will remain up through the New Year. Landoll’s Mohican Castle is located at 561 Township Road 3352 Loudonville, Ohio 44842. For more info, visit landollsmohicancastle.com.

Nestled in the rolling hills and forests near Mohican State Park, Landoll’s Mohican Castle was built back in 2002. The region of Ohio is a popular destination for outdoor lovers, with plenty. of places to hike, zipline, camp, rock climb, and more.
