This Magical Christmas Castle Is The Perfect Way To Spend Time With The Family

Grab your winter coats, pack your bags, and hop in the car. We’re going to a Christmas castle.

Landoll’s Mohican Castle is one of my favorite castles in Ohio (yes there are multiple) and they’ve gone all out for the holiday season. The spectacular display, called Christmas at the Castle: a Kingdom of Lights, is straight-up magical. You can stroll through the property, admire the beautifully illuminated castle, enjoy holiday music and have dinner in the restaurant.

If you visit the castle Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights through December 29, you can take part in the holiday buffet, which includes a variety of holiday classics like glazed ham and oven-roasted chicken, as well as a vegan menu.

On the weekends, Santa Claus will visit the castle between 6 and 8 p.m. to greet the kiddos and fill the castle with his laughter.

Christmas at the Castle: A Kingdom of Lights is $8 per car on Friday and Saturday nights, and free Sunday-Thursday. You can buy your tickets in advance or pay at the gate. Since you’ll be walking around outside to enjoy the lights, be sure to dress appropriately.

Friendly pups are also invited to tour the grounds, but they must remain on their leash. The lights will remain up until January 5, 2020. Landoll’s Mohican Castle is located at 561 Township Road 3352 Loudonville, Ohio 44842.
