Kona Craft Kitchen Is Dublin’s Most Exciting New Eatery

Kona Craft Kitchen is open in Dublin and it was worth the wait.

If you’ve ever wondered if a restaurant can be the best spot for brunch with the girls, a quick pastry and coffee, and a romantic night out, the answer is yes. And that magical place is Kona Craft Kitchen.

The tropical island-inspired establishment does a lot of things really well. When you first walk in, you’ll be greeted in the cafe area. Here you’ll find cozy spots to chill out and enjoy some Kona Coffee and a pastry.

If you’re looking for a sit-down dining experience, you’ll want to get seated in the light-filled rear section of the restaurant. Kona Craft Kitchen is open all day long, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. With a gorgeous bar and impressive cocktail menu, it really is the kind of place you can visit for any occasion.

Although I was initially aiming to visit during breakfast, I wasn’t disappointed at all with the lunch menu. Since it was an early lunch, I went with the No Lox Bagel sandwich, which was, hand to heart, the best sandwich I’ve tasted this year.

You can’t go to Kona Craft Kitchen and not savor the opportunity to drink the world’s best coffee, so I ordered one of those as well. I may be biased as a former Kona resident, but the best part of waking up really is Kona in your cup, so go ahead and treat yourself.

After a delicious meal and incredible service, I had the opportunity to chat with owner Stacy Leary, whose passion for the new eatery was immediately evident. Leary and her family had fallen in love with Kona and The Big Island of Hawaii over years of visiting, and they put every ounce of that love into creating a spectacular space to gather and enjoy quality, made-from-scratch food.

On Stacy’s advice, I grabbed a cinnamon roll from the cafe before heading home. It was the second-best decision I made that day. The first was visiting Kona Craft Kitchen, to begin with.
