Broadway Live Renderings Reveal Grove City’s $60M Town Center Vision

There are big changes heading for the heart of Grove City. An ambitious new development, called Broadway Live, is hoping to become a vibrant space designed to make the Town Center the go-to destination for locals and visitors alike.

Spearheaded by Axiom Ventures, this $60 million project will offer an exciting mix of dining, entertainment, and upscale living, redefining what it means to “go out” in Grove City.

The centerpiece of Broadway Live will be a 16,400-square-foot food hall.

With a sprawling indoor-outdoor bar and a big stage for live performances, this food hall will be the main social space at the development.

Around the food hall, the development will offer a lively array of dining spots, dessert stops, and niche retailers. William F. Breck Public Plaza, a multi-functional community space, will give visitors a place to gather for movie nights, sports broadcasts on giant LED screens, and other events.

And for golf enthusiasts looking to unwind, The Club House, a golf-themed lounge on the upper floor of the food hall, will offer a laid-back vibe.

Axiom’s development team envisions Broadway Live as a catalyst for growth that supports existing businesses in Grove City’s Town Center. The plaza, with its planned pedestrian pathways and over 215 public parking spots, will connect Broadway Live to surrounding attractions like Beulah Park and Town Center Park.

As more businesses and amenities take root around this central hub, the project is expected to spark up to $156.6 million in additional development.

Broadway Live will also include “The Apex,” a luxury apartment building with over 150 units and prime amenities for residents.

However, a development of this scale doesn’t come without its challenges.

Rising construction costs prompted Axiom Ventures to make a few tweaks to the plan, including securing more land for essential parking and infrastructure. The developers are also working closely with city officials to ensure the right mix of public and private funding is in place to bring this vision to life. Grove City has been asked to invest in infrastructure improvements—such as street upgrades and utility enhancements—and to help fund the William Breck Public Plaza.

The total city contribution for this project, including tax abatements over 15 years, is expected to reach $50 million. In return, Broadway Live is projected to generate $237 million in construction-related economic impact, $2.6 million in direct city taxes in its first year, and close to a million in annual city taxes thereafter.
