Emmett’s Cafe Has Chill Vibes, Delicious Eats, And An Incredible Heated Patio

Are you ready to fall in love with an adorable cafe? Because that’s what is about to happen my friends.

Emmett’s Cafe is open at 744 S. High Street and it is an absolute gem. The cafe is open every day from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. and they’ve got all of your cravings covered. The adorable cafe serves coffee, sandwiches and pitas, salads, and bowls, and let me just tell you upfront, they’re delicious.

The first thing I heard about Emmett’s was that they had an incredible patio, and that’s very true, but we’re going to start with the food. Normally I try to get something super visually stunning when I visit restaurants, and Emmett’s has plenty of that on the menu. But it was really chilly and early, and honestly, all I wanted was a cappuccino and a breakfast sandwich.

Boy, oh boy, did Emmett’s deliver. I ordered the Aussie Cap and the One-Handed breakfast sandwich and both were genuinely amazing. The sandwich had the perfect balance, with the rosemary aioli, crispy prosciutto, egg, and cheese perfectly complementing each other. The cappuccino wasn’t too wet or too dry, a total Goldilocks moment because it was just right.

After placing our order, we headed out to the patio to wait on the goods and it was definitely worth the hype. There are heaters all over the patio and plenty of space to spread out, which is especially appreciated during a pandemic.

I have a running list of places I’m going out for brunch with my friends once we can safely be together again, and Emmett’s just hopped straight to the top of that list. It’s affordable, the service was phenomenal, and the food was delicious and speedy.

If you don’t feel comfortable hanging on the patio to eat, you can order your food in advance for contact-free pick-up over on their website. Emmett’s Cafe is open daily from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. You can grab more info or check out the menu for yourself by clicking here.
