After 12 years, this Columbus spot, known for its vibrant atmosphere and killer margaritas and palomas, is saying goodbye. El Camino Inn will close on Saturday, due to lease negotiations.
“While this chapter is ending due to lease negotiations, our hearts are full of gratitude for the incredible community we’ve been lucky to call our friends and family,” the restaurant shared on social media.
But before we shed too many tears into our drinks, El Camino is inviting the community to join them for one last celebration. Stop by 238 S 4th St. for a final round of margaritas, enjoy your favorite tacos, and soak in the energy that’s made this place a local favorite for the last decade.
For those wanting a keepsake, El Camino Inn is also holding a farewell sale. Regular items from Wasteland Vintage Co. are 30% off, and even those “Not For Sale” treasures are on the table for the right offer.
El Camino first opened back in 2012. Along with Dirty Franks and Little Palace, its presence helped kick start a transformation along 4th Street in the heart of downtown Columbus. Owners Tina and Randy Corbin are hopeful that they can find a new home for the concept. The duo also owns Little Palace Restaurant (240 S. Fourth St.) and Club 185 (185 E. Livingston Ave).
But for now, it’s sadly time to say goodbye.
