Columbus Taco Week runs Monday, August 17 through Saturday, August 22, 2026. Participating restaurants across central Ohio are serving taco specials priced at $10 or less, and there is no ticket or pass to buy. A portion of the proceeds goes to Mid-Ohio Food Collective. Nine restaurants have posted their deals so far and more are still being added.

The deals, restaurant by restaurant
Prices below are food only, before tax and gratuity. Drinks are separate. A few spots are dine-in only, so it’s worth reading the terms before driving over.
- Agave & Rye (Short North and Grandview): The Umami Bomb, an epic-size smash taco with a sirloin patty, egg fried rice, and sweet-and-spicy bacon, is $8. A $10 taco flight lets you mix and match smaller ones. The flight options are the Jedi, with tempura-fried shiitake mushrooms and no meat; the Honey Trap, grilled herb chicken with a hot honey drizzle; and the Braised & Worshiped, slow-roasted birria with mozzarella and street corn salad. Dine-in only.
- Casa Hacienda Grill (1356 N. Hamilton Rd., Gahanna): A three-pack of mini quesa birria tacos for $10. Dine-in or carryout.
- Casa Hacienda Birrieria & Taco Shop (2997 Morse Rd., Columbus): The Morse Road sibling runs the same deal, a three-pack of mini quesabirria tacos for $10. Dine-in or carryout.
- Do2 Sabores (6042 Huntley Rd., Columbus): Three tacos for $8.99, with your choice of birria, chicken, or chorizo, topped with cilantro and onion. There’s a three-taco minimum and you can mix and match. Dine-in or carryout. Their featured drink is a $10 mezcalita.
- El Carajillo (851 N. 4th St., Columbus): A three-taco platter for $10, choosing between chicken, chorizo, or al pastor, served with lime, radish, grilled cebollita, rice and beans. Dine-in or carryout.
- El Vaquero (multiple central Ohio locations): Three tacos for $9.99, either al pastor, birria, or marinated chicken. All three have to be the same kind, so no mixing. Dine-in only.
- Hacienda Taqueria & Bar (26 N. Sandusky St., Delaware): A three-pack of mini quesa birria tacos for $10. This one is up in Delaware, so it’s a drive from most of Columbus. Dine-in or carryout.
- Plaza Mexican Grill (1644 N. High St., Columbus): Three al pastor tacos for $9, served on corn tortillas with pineapple, onion and cilantro, plus lime and salsa. Dine-in or carryout.
- Terra Mezcal (2171 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus): A $10 Taco Week platter of two tacos with one protein, chorizo or steak or chicken or al pastor, served with rice and beans. Dine-in or carryout.
Whatever happened to the $2 tacos?
Taco Week started in 2020 as a pandemic relief effort, with $2 specials meant to pull customers back into restaurants that were barely hanging on, and proceeds going to the Ohio Restaurant Association Employee Relief Fund. The $2 price point held for the first few years. It has since moved to a $10-and-under ceiling, which gives kitchens room to build a full platter instead of a single cheap taco. Several of this year’s deals land at $8 or $9.
More restaurants are still being added
The organizers were still adding restaurants as of the weekend before the event, and the nine above are the ones with published menus. The full and current list lives on the official Taco Week menu page, which is worth a look mid-week if nothing near you is on the list yet.
Taco Week is run by The Taco Squad, the same nonprofit behind Columbus Taco Fest. This year’s proceeds benefit Mid-Ohio Food Collective, and the organizers also take direct donations at give.mofc.org/taco.
