Growing up in central Ohio, I spent many a Saturday at Circle S Farms in the fall for pumpkins, cider donuts, and hayrides.
But the farm’s not just a fall favorite—it also puts on a seriously beautiful show every summer, when the sunflowers burst into bloom.
The sunflower field at Circle S opens Wednesday, July 16, and this year’s crop is looking especially stunning.
In fact, the farm says it’s one of the best fields of sunflowers they’ve ever grown.
Admission is just $5 per person (kids 3 and under are free), and it includes one cut sunflower to take home. If you want more—and trust us, you’ll want more—extra blooms are $1 each, or you can fill a mason jar to the brim for $10. Just make sure to bring your own handheld snips for cutting.
It’s the kind of easy, feel-good outing that makes summer feel like summer.
