Columbus just got a new burger joint with a cinematic twist.
Burger Royale is now open at 1758 N. High St., in the former Apollo’s space, serving up West Coast–style burgers and a menu inspired by Quentin Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction.
The restaurant first launched as a food truck, building a following for its butter-toasted brioche buns, hand-pattied burgers, and fresh-cut fries cooked in beef tallow.

Now, the brick-and-mortar spot is serving favorites like the Royale, the Royale with Cheese, and The Apollo — a nod to the former restaurant topped with gyro meat and tzatziki. For something bolder, the Big Kahuna comes stacked with Spam, pineapple, jalapeños, and BBQ sauce.
The menu doesn’t stop at burgers. There are quesadillas, chicken tenders, and even duck fat fries. With its mix of movie nostalgia and no-fuss burger shop energy, Burger Royale is adding a little Hollywood flavor to campus dining.
