Unwind And Relax At The DogHouse, BrewDog’s Craft Beer Hotel

The world’s first brewery hotel is officially open.

BrewDog opened their newest one-of-a-kind experience where guests will be able to watch the brewers at work from rooms overlooking the state-of-the-art brewing facility. The 32-room DogHouse is a beer lover’s paradise, with beer taps in each room and a built-in shower beer fridge.

“For many beer fans, the idea of a beer hotel was just a pipe-dream. A beer utopia that was never thought possible. Until now,” said BrewDog co-founder James Watts. “Thanks to the backing of our global community of beer evangelists, we’ve been hard at work to make that dream a reality.”

In addition to the ultimate craft beer accommodations, BrewDog USA has also unveiled an interactive beer museum. The 6,000 square foot space will take guests through the brewing process, explore the history of craft beer, and offer fun, hands-on experiences.

When guests arrive to check in, they’ll be greeted by the lobby bartender, who will provide them with a brew to enjoy while they get settled in. From there, it’s off to one of the 32-guest rooms. Of course, it wouldn’t be BrewDog if you couldn’t bring your furry friend along. Dogs are welcome at the hotel, with four rooms that offer easy access to the BrewDog dog park.

BrewDog may have been born in Scotland, but they’ve embraced their Ohio community with open arms, offering guests Stauf’s Coffee in the lobby, Rogue Fitness equipment in the hotel’s fitness center, and a new line of hop-infused soaps created by Glenn Avenue Soaps exclusively for BrewDog.

“The DogHouse is truly a hotel like no other. With the help of our passionate community, we have created a must-visit destination for craft beer fans around the world,” said BrewDog USA CEO Tanisha Robinson.

“We never shy away from ambitious tasks at BrewDog and the creation of the DogHouse is no exception. We have pushed the boundaries of what modern hospitality can be, and in doing so, have created an unrivaled beery experience. We hope this inspires brewers and hoteliers to continue innovating and expanding the possibilities of what can be done with beer.”

Reservations for the DogHouse, located at 96 Gender Road in Canal Winchester, can be made now. All guests must be 21+. For more information or to book your stay, please click here. For more photos, and some fun Doghouse facts, keep scrolling.

The hotel has 32 guest rooms, varying in size and layout, but consistently awesome. Each room has a shower fridge, a reasonably priced mini-bar fridge, and their own beer taps.

Some of the rooms at the DogHouse offer amazing views of Overlooks, the sour beer facility at BrewDog.

Of course, a vacation at a brewery could lead to some empty calory consumption, but don’t fear. Rogue Fitness and BrewDog have teamed up to create a state of the art workout facility with everything you’ll need to keep that beer belly off.

The ground floor rooms were my absolute favorite because I know my dog is going to lose his mind when I take him here and we can pop right outside the room and head to the dog park.

There’s no traditional front desk at the DogHouse. There is, however, a lobby bartender, who’s there for all of your needs, from grabbing a beer to voicing a complaint.

This isn’t the kind of hotel where you come and stay in the room the whole time (although you totally could with all the beer in there.) Part of what makes the DogHouse amazing is the communal aspect.

From board games to table tennis to brewery tours, getting out of your room isn’t required, but it is highly recommended.
