Franklinton, get ready. A new Italian steakhouse is about to make dinner plans very easy.
Losanti officially opens February 28 at 440 W. Broad St. inside Gravity, marking the first time Cincinnati’s Crown Restaurant Group has expanded outside the Queen City.
The Columbus location is the largest Losanti yet, with 6,000 square feet of space, seating for up to 250 guests, a seasonal patio, and three private dining rooms. One of those rooms accommodates up to 40 people and includes its own dedicated bar, which makes it ideal for rehearsal dinners, corporate events, or any excuse to gather a crowd.
What’s on the menu?

Losanti is a modern Italian steakhouse rooted in family recipes and classic technique. The menu centers on USDA Prime steaks that are hand-cut in-house and cooked simply to highlight the quality of the meat. You’ll also find handmade pastas, seafood, fresh salads, and classic steakhouse sides built for sharing.
Two dishes carry serious family history: the Slow Roasted Giant Meatball and the house tomato sauce, both inspired by recipes from Chef Anthony Sitek’s grandmother, Grace. For dessert, the Butter Cake is already a Cincinnati favorite and is making the move to Columbus.
Everything is made from scratch. Bread is baked daily. Sauces, dressings, cured meats, and gelato are produced in-house. The kitchen operates with a zero-waste philosophy and avoids frozen ingredients altogether. Sourcing is intentional, with pork from Lansing’s and Ohio-grown produce brought in from a Cleveland supplier.
A happy hour just for Columbus

The Columbus restaurant will feature a location-exclusive happy hour from 4 to 6 p.m. daily. The beverage program leans into Italian influences while embracing modern techniques, with house-made syrups, fresh-pressed juices, and thoughtful garnishes. The bar anchors the dining room and draws inspiration from early 1900s Chicago steakhouses, giving the space a warm, classic feel.
Design details include a custom mural called “Rosie” by Chicago artist Jenny Vyas and antiques sourced throughout Central Ohio, tying the restaurant to its new home.
Why Franklinton?

For the Siteks, Franklinton felt like the right fit. The neighborhood’s energy and growth remind them of where they started in Cincinnati. It is a natural next step for a concept that blends tradition with a modern edge.
“Losanti brings that philosophy to life in a more elevated way, and opening in Columbus is an opportunity to create new memories and build lasting relationships with guests who become part of our extended family,” said Haley Nutter-Sitek.
Losanti will open Wednesday through Sunday in March, with happy hour from 4 to 6 p.m. and dinner service from 4:30 to 10 p.m. Seven-day service is planned to begin in April.
