Seven Husky Puppies At The Delaware County Humane Society Need Families

There are a lot of adorable dogs looking for homes every day, but a whole litter of Husky puppies? That’s the kind of chaos that tends to turn heads.

Right now, the Humane Society of Delaware County is caring for seven Siberian Husky puppies who are ready to find their forever families. The group includes four girls and three boys, and like most Huskies, their personalities are already starting to make themselves known.

Some of the pups have the classic icy blue eyes the breed is famous for, while others have darker eyes. Either way, they’re equally fluffy, equally curious, and equally likely to steal your heart.

Life with a Husky is never boring

Anyone who has spent time around Huskies knows they come with a lot of personality packed into one fluffy body.

Originally bred as sled dogs, Siberian Huskies were built to run long distances and work closely with a team. That history shows up in their daily life today. They’re energetic, intelligent, and always ready for the next adventure.

They’re also famous for being a little dramatic. Huskies are known for their howls, “talking,” and expressive personalities. Many owners will tell you their Husky seems to have a strong opinion about just about everything.

But there’s another side to them that Husky families know well. They’re incredibly affectionate dogs that bond closely with their people. Underneath all that energy is a loyal and loving companion who just wants to be part of the action.

Meet the puppies this weekend

The puppies have been getting plenty of care and interaction while they wait for their forever homes. Now they’re ready to meet potential adopters in person.

Anyone interested in adopting will be able to meet the pups Saturday, March 14, from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Humane Society of Delaware County. You can apply online here.

If you’ve been thinking about adding a dog to your life and you’re ready for an active, smart, and very expressive companion, this might be the perfect opportunity. Just be prepared. Walking into a room with seven Husky puppies can make it very difficult to leave without one.
