O.A.R. Is Returning to Columbus for a Pre-Game Performance at Ohio Stadium

O.A.R., the beloved band that found its voice here at The Ohio State University, is coming back to town for a special pre-game performance you won’t want to miss. The platinum-certified band will take the stage before the 2025 Navy Federal Credit Union NHL Stadium Series game on Saturday, March 1, at Ohio Stadium.

Known for hits like “Shattered (Turn the Car Around)” and “That Was a Crazy Game of Poker,” O.A.R. has built a loyal fanbase and deep ties to Columbus. It’s been nearly three decades since the band’s OSU days, and they’re still rocking stages across the country. Most recently, they released their 10th studio album and wrapped up a successful headlining tour.

The NHL Stadium Series game will feature the Columbus Blue Jackets taking on the Detroit Red Wings in an epic outdoor showdown. But the music doesn’t stop with O.A.R. Columbus legends Twenty One Pilots are also performing during the first intermission, making this event a must-see for music and hockey fans alike.

Tickets for the game are available now on Ticketmaster, and Ohio State students can snag specially priced $20.99 tickets with their .edu email. So mark your calendars, grab your Buckeye gear, and get ready to sing your heart out with O.A.R. at the Shoe.
