Veterinary care can be expensive, and when your pet needs routine vaccines or basic care, that cost can be overwhelming.
Columbus Humane is stepping up to help by offering a series of low-cost vaccine clinics across Franklin County through the summer and fall. These clinics are designed to make essential pet care more accessible for families across the region.
At each clinic, pet owners can access the following services:
- Rabies vaccine: $10
- DAPLP for dogs: $15
- FVRCP for cats: $15
- Combo vaccine (rabies + core vaccine): $20
- Dewormer (available at select clinics): $5
- Free pet food from Columbus Humane’s pet pantry (available at select clinics)
Columbus Humane has already vaccinated more than 650 pets this summer, and in 2024, the organization helped nearly 2,000 animals throughout Central Ohio.

In addition to these mobile events, the Columbus Humane Essential Care Center is open year-round, offering low-cost veterinary care including wellness exams, vaccinations, surgical services, and treatment for sick or injured pets. The center also operates a free pet food pantry for those who need it.
“One of our main goals is making veterinary care as accessible as possible,” said Brittany Williams, Columbus Humane’s director of marketing. “We are working towards this every day at the Essential Care Center, but meeting people where they are is so important.”
If you’re planning to attend a clinic, here are a few important things to know:
- All pets must be leashed or in a secure carrier
- Cash or card payment is required at the time of service
- Flea and tick preventatives are not available
- You must be in line at least one hour before closing to guarantee service
