Uptown Westerville is getting a major caffeine boost. Fox in the Snow, one of Columbus’s most beloved cafés and bakeries, is opening a brand new location in the heart of the neighborhood this summer.
The announcement came via social media, where the shop teased, “Something’s getting started 👀 Get ready for Fox in the Snow Westerville coming late summer!” The café will open at 79 S. State Street, joining the bustling lineup of local shops and eateries in Uptown.

Currently, Fox in the Snow operates four locations across Central Ohio—in Italian Village, German Village, New Albany, and most recently, Dublin, where the café opened inside a renovated former U.S. post office. Known for its airy spaces, natural light, and beautifully prepared pastries and breakfast sandwiches, the shop has earned a reputation as a local favorite and a destination for travelers alike.
Fox in the Snow’s acclaim has gone far beyond Columbus.
It’s been featured in Food & Wine’s list of the best breakfasts in every state, praising its soufflé egg sandwich and “some of the best pastry in town.”
TheTravel called it one of the best places for coffee and pastries in the city, noting the warm ambiance and fresh-baked goods.
One hallmark of the shop’s vibe is its intentional absence of public WiFi, meant to foster real conversations and unplugged moments over coffee and croissants.
There’s no exact opening date just yet, but Westerville coffee lovers can expect to see the new café open its doors by late summer.
