These Community Pools Around Columbus Are Now Open For The 2022 Season

It’s almost summer in Ohio which means it’s almost time to cool off at the pool.

We’re kicking things off with the Columbus Recreation and Parks Department Community Pools. Daily admission to any of the Columbus pools is $1 and reservations for time slots can be made online.

Dodge, Driving Park, and Tuttle Pools all opened over Memorial Day Weekend, but the remaining pools will open at a later day. You can view a full list of the pools below, and you can see their status by visiting the Recreation and Parks website.

Canal Winchester Municipal Swimming Pool
The Canal Winchester Municipal Swimming Pool offers a wading pool, a zero-depth entrance recreational pool, a climbing wall, and more. Daily admission and memberships are available.

Bexley Pool
The City of Bexley welcomes the community back to another year at the David H. Madison Community Pool. Daily admission tickets are $10/adult, $7/kids.

Hilliard’s Community Pools Annual memberships for Hilliard’s Pools go on sale on June 3 and they sell out quickly. Daily admission will also be available this summer and cost $10 for both The Hilliard Family Aquatic Center and The Clyde “Butch” Seidle Community Pool.

Dublin Outdoor Community Pools
This year, there are season passes and daily tickets available for Dublin’s pools, but there are limited memberships for non-residents. Prices vary by membership status, so click the link above for more details.

Plain Township Aquatic Center
The pools at Plain Township Aquatic Center offer an 8-lane competition pool, a mushroom umbrella of water sprays and shooting fountains, two 28-foot water slides, heated pools, an Interactive Play area, and more. Learn more about the various memberships and admission fees here.

The Big Splash (Grove City)
The Big Splash Family Aquatics Center is a municipal water park serving the residents of Grove City and Jackson Township. The Big Splash is available only to season pass holders and guests of pass holders.

Highlands Park Aquatic Center
Highlands Park Aquatic Center (HPAC) will be open for the 2022 summer season. Individual season passes, season passes for families of five or fewer and season pass renewals may be purchased online at westerville.org/registration. Daily admission is $15 for non-residents and $7 for residents.

Grandview Heights Municipal Pool
The Grandview Heights pool is officially open for the 2022 season. There are memberships and daily passes available for both residents and non-residents. Daily passes start at $10 for adults, but you can view the full price scale here.

Worthington Pools
Worthington Pools will return for the year with memberships and daily tickets. You can come by the pool for things like swim lessons, lifeguard training, open swim sessions, and more. Daily admission is $15 for adults and $10 for kiddos.

Pickerington Community Pool
The Pickerington Community Pool will be open this summer with season passes and daily passes available. Daily tickets are $8 and can be purchased at the gates only.

Minerva Park Pool
The Minerva Park Pool reopened Memorial Day weekend. There are a variety of membership options, including for residents and non-residents. Those interested in pricing, hours, and more info can visit the link above.

Powell Pool
The Powell Pool requires memberships, but there are opportunities for non-members to visit the pool. Members of the community are invited to enjoy the pool on the first Monday of the month. (June 6, July 5, and August 1) Those community days are $8/person. Visitors can enjoy the many pool amenities, including the 165-foot water slide.

Gahanna Pools
Gahanna Pools will welcome back visitors for the 2022 season. Anyone hoping to purchase a season pass will need to do so before June 2. Memberships are open to residents and non-residents. You can click the link above for more info.

Groveport Aquatic Center
Groveport Aquatic Center is one of the most affordable community pools around. Whether you’re just looking for a day pass or you want to sign up for the whole season, you can save some money and have a lot of fun at the pool this summer.
