A New Cat Cafe Is Open For Business And It’s Purrrfect

Coffee Cat Corner is opening its doors to humans that love coffee and kitties. The best part? Once you’ve fallen in love with one of the felines, you can take it home.

Coffee Cat Corner has been open for business for a couple months, but the grand opening party will kick off at 10 a.m. and last until 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 22. This event will be a free event, but otherwise, it’s $5 per half-hour of cuddle-time with the cats. Since the cafe is not a shelter, they do not get funding from the government. This fee is to help with the kitty care and upkeep.

This cafe was formerly known as Coffee Time Bakery & Cafe. But according to a Facebook post, they decided to start going in a new direction.

“We have changed names and business concept to fulfill our passion….coffee and pets!” said the post.

This cat cafe, like many other feline-focused cafes, works with a rescue to bring their customers the cutest kitties. Coffee Cat Corner has partnered with a local rescue organization called Pet Promise. This rescue has dozens of adorable cats and dogs that are just looking for a furever home. Thanks to Coffee Cat Corner, several cats have already been adopted.

Trust me, it will be easier to leave Coffee Cat Corner with a new furbaby than it will be to leave without one.

Just look that them!

Until then, the kitties will just sit around waiting, sipping on their caramel meow-chiatos, and hoping you’ll to adopt them.
