Columbus, get ready for one of the most anticipated weekends of the summer. CBUS Soul® Fest returns August 15 and 16, bringing two full days of live music, incredible food, and community celebration to Bicentennial Park.
Now in its fourth year, the festival has grown from a single-day event into a weekend-long experience. The move from Genoa Park to Bicentennial Park means more space, better views along the Scioto Mile, and room for even more people to enjoy the music and food that make this event so special.
The lineup is stacked.
Friday starts with the high-energy funk of MojoFlo at 4 p.m., followed by R&B favorite Rahsaan Patterson at 6 p.m., and Grammy-nominated soul singer Eric Benét at 8 p.m.
Saturday features local talent Ria Blaq at 4 p.m., the smooth and soulful Goapele at 6 p.m., and closes with the rich vocals of Raheem Devaughn at 8 p.m.
Come for the music, stay for the food.
The festival will feature a variety of local food trucks and vendors serving up everything from street tacos to gourmet donuts. Expect favorites like Cupzilla, Donna’s Delicious Dozen, Dos Hermanos, Fat Boy Q, Flavor 91 Bistro, Suge’s Smokehouse Barbecue, and more.
It’s not just a concert.
“CBUS Soul® Fest is more than a concert—it’s a celebration of culture, community and creativity,” said Bernita A. Reese, M.S., CPRP, director of Columbus Recreation and Parks Department.
It is free to attend, family-friendly, and open to everyone. Whether you are there for the headliners, the local talent, or the food, this festival offers something for everyone.
“We invite everyone to come out, dance, sing, and celebrate everything that makes Columbus such a vibrant place to live, work and play,” said Reese.
