Hollywood Casino Columbus is adding something it has never had before. A hotel.
The casino announced this week that its new on-site hotel tower is expected to open on June 12, pending final regulatory approvals. The addition marks a major expansion for the west side entertainment destination, which has operated without overnight accommodations since opening in 2012.
The new tower will bring 203 guest rooms to the property, including 183 standard rooms and 20 luxury suites.
The project spans about 150,000 square feet and will include a full-service restaurant and bar called The Hill Eatery & Lounge, along with conference rooms, a fitness center, and an outdoor terrace.
For visitors coming from outside Columbus, the addition fills a noticeable gap.

Until now, guests who wanted to stay overnight after visiting the casino had to book rooms at nearby hotels.
The expansion will also create about 100 new jobs. Hollywood Casino Columbus plans to host job fairs for hotel positions on March 27 and April 10 ahead of the opening.
Once the tower is complete, the casino plans to celebrate with a grand opening festival and concert on June 12.
More changes could be coming to the property later this year.

Hollywood Casino Columbus says it is also planning an expanded high-limit table games room, which could open in the second half of 2026 if approvals move forward.
Located just off I-270 on the west side, Hollywood Casino Columbus already houses one of the largest gaming floors in the state, along with restaurants like Final Cut Steak & Seafood, Mikey’s Late Night Slice, Dirty Frank’s Hot Dog Palace, Zen Noodle, and Wahlburgers.

Room reservations for the new hotel are expected to open April 15 through the Hollywood Casino Columbus website.
