Blendon Woodstock Combines Disc Golf, Live Music, And A Whole Lot of Community Fun

Blendon Woodstock is back for its second year at Blendon Woods Metro Park, and whether you’re a seasoned disc golfer or just in it for the food trucks and live music, this all-day event has something for everyone.

At the heart of the festival is a full disc golf tournament, with singles, glow, and a doubles event that encourages players to team up with someone new to the sport. It’s the perfect opportunity to bring a friend who’s never played a tournament before and introduce them to the game in a fun, low-pressure setting.

While the tournament unfolds across the course, the rest of the park transforms into a lively celebration of local music, craft beer from Nocterra Brewing, and food from Fridas, Burgers & Smiles, Ciao Gelato, and Kona Ice. There will also be disc golf games, mini-challenges, instructional classes, and a chance to play a round with an experienced player if you’re just getting started.

Vendors from across the disc golf world—including GRIPeq, Disc Golf Mart, Trash Panda, Discraft, and more—will be on-site with gear, merch, and plenty of local flavor. And if you’re feeling lucky, there’s a fundraising raffle with all proceeds going directly to course improvements.

Blendon Woodstock is organized by Friends of Metro Parks and the Olentangy Disc Club as a fundraiser for new course baskets and upgrades. Hole sponsorships are $300 and go entirely toward these improvements.

Whether you’re aiming for a tournament win or just looking for a great day outdoors, Blendon Woodstock offers a chance to connect with the disc golf community and enjoy one of the city’s most beautiful parks.
