Coffee runs just got a little more exciting for Ohio State students.
7 Brew Coffee, the fast-growing drive-thru coffee chain, has opened a new walk-thru stand right in the heart of the University District at 2118 N High St. It’s only the second walk-thru location in the country for the brand, which is best known for its speedy service, endless drink combinations, and focus on friendliness.
To mark the grand opening, 7 Brew cut the ribbon this week and donated $2,000 to Nationwide Children’s Hospital as part of its ongoing partnership with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
“This opening is about more than just coffee,” said Chris Dawson, president of 7 Brew. “It’s about bringing our energy and authentic connections into a new community.”
The brand kicked things off with a Friends and Family weekend earlier this month, where students and staff scored free drinks. In addition to Community Hours earlier this week (where everyone got a free small drink), they’re having a swag day today, Friday, Sept. 12, where customers who purchase a large drink will get a free 7 Brew t-shirt.

If you’ve never tried 7 Brew, you can expect a menu with over 20,000 possible drink combinations, ranging from classics like the Blondie (a caramel and vanilla breve) to smoothies, shakes, energy drinks, and teas. The new stand will also bring around 80 jobs to the Columbus area.
