Are you a DIY addict? Do you love getting stuff for free? If the answer is yes, then you can’t miss the Zero Landfill event this weekend.
Zero Landfill is a reuse program. They collect samples from architectural and interior design companies and offer them to members of the community, instead of dumping them in the trash.

The samples can be used for all sorts of projects, from jewelry to home goods. On Saturday, October 14 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m., community members can come fill up their own boxes and bags with goodies.
If you want to attend, but you’re unsure what to use the items for, don’t worry. Zero Landfill has set up a Pinterest inspiration board. You can look through all sorts of DIY crafts and activities that are perfect for these items.
Items at the event range from carpet squares to paint chip samples to stone and glass tiles. Zero Landfill will take place at Wilsonart International, located at 2500 International St, Columbus, OH 43228.
