Summer Movie Series: Dark Passage

What: Watch Humphry Bogard and Lauren Bacall in the film noir thriller, Dark Passage. Bogart plays a convict wrongly accused of his wife’s murder. After escaping prison, he works to prove his innocence with the help of a young woman.

The Great Inflatable Race Columbus

What: This fun run is for all ages and is family-friendly. Make your workout a fun one by taking on the inflatable obstacles on the race course. Register on their website, and be sure to wear good shoes (no pointy cleats, please) and pack some water to stay hydrated. You can also try out different activities in the Inflatable Village for $15.

Reel Big Fish — The Beer Run

What: Love the punkish music of the 90s? This ska-punk band established themselves in the underground scene and broke into the mainstream with their single, “Sell Out.” The California-based band is back and ready to put on a show. Tickets are $28 in advance and $30 the day of.

Short North Gallery Hop

What: Gallery hop, on the first Saturday of each month, and gives the community an opportunity to enjoy an evening of art and entertainment. Exhibitions will include everything portraits by Joey Monsoon to comic-inspired pieces by Chas Ray Krider.

Ohio Roller Derby Season Home Closer

What: If you’ve never seen roller derby, it might be time to give it a shot. Beer and concessions will be available, and parking is $5. Ohio Roller Derby, Columbus’s women’s flat track roller derby league, has been around since 2005 and used to be called the Ohio Roller Girls.

Picnic With The Pops: Patriotic Pops Featuring Harmony Project
