The Washboard Music Festival is back again for its 19th year.
The historic festival will return to Logan, OH to celebrate the 123rd anniversary of America’s last washboard factory. During Father’s Day Weekend, the festival celebrates Appalachian culture and heritage.
The festival features live music, parades, children’s entertainment, vendors, and festival food. A dozen washboard and folk bands from around North America will perform throughout the weekend while local artists will sell both folk and fine art, crafts, and washboard-inspired instruments.
There is a kid-friendly area at the fest, with a fun train ride that circles the festival. The parade will take place on Saturday at 5 p.m. and there will be free tours of the 123-year old Columbus Washboard Company, the only factory in the United States still producing washboards on a daily basis.
