Virtual Velo Is Changing The Way Cyclists Train In New Albany

A new way to cycle is coming to New Albany. Retired cyclist and enthusiast Geoff Clark has been riding for a long time. He’s now using that knowledge, in combination with technology, to bring a unique experience to Columbus cyclists.

“I’ve been riding for more than 30 years and I’d rather be on my bike than anywhere else,” Clark explained in a press release. “Between weather, riding locations and time constraints of everyday life, it’s not always possible to be out on the road.”

When the weather in Ohio changes faster than you can keep up, Virtual Velo may just be the perfect solution. “We’ve created a social environment, infused with the latest training technology that allows cycIists to ride on their own bikes, with friends and get a workout that parallels their outdoor ride,” he said. “We’re excited to introduce this new concept to the Columbus cycling community.”
