Update Your Vinyl Collection For $1 At These Upcoming Sales

Is your record collection getting a little played out?

Don’t panic. Your collection could probably use a little update. There’s nothing quite like popping your favorite vinyl album on the record player and listening to the cracks and pops. It’s even better when you get said record on sale. Luckily, records are on every music lovers mind in April, since Record Store day is at the end of the month.

If you’re looking to snag some sweet deals, there are two events you can’t miss, and they both involve purchasing new (well, new to you) records for your listening needs for only $1.

Springtime Dollar Record Sale

Hosted by Elizabeth’s Records, the Springtime Dollar Record Sale is exactly what it sounds like. You can scoop up some great albums for the low cost of $1. The event will take place April 8 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Ace of Cups, located at 2619 N High St, Columbus, Ohio 43202. Admission is free and there will be a DJ and an Open Bar (ID required).

Pre-RSD One Dollar Sale at Lost Weekend Records

via Facebook

In order to make room for all of the goodies coming into the shop for Record Store Day, Lost Weekend Records is hosting their annual Pre-RSD One Dollar Sale. This event will take place in the parking lot at Lost Weekend and will feature over 2,000 records, all available for $1. If that isn’t cheap enough for you, there will even be crates of 10-cent 45s for sale.

Get ready to dig through some crates of records. You never know what you may find!
