Vintage Toast, one of the coolest places to snag some authentic and awesome clothes, will be closing up shop on Sunday. The physical shop that is.
Toast to the Cloud… ANNOUNCEMENT You're the first to hear a bittersweet announcement; we've decided not to renew our lease on our High Street storefront. July 29th will be our last day of business. We wouldn't trade the experience of running a Brick & Mortar business for all the gold in your Fort Knox, but as we look to the future of Vintage Toast it's clear that it lies online in the Cloud(s). We learned a lot running a retail business and made so many great friends and acquaintances. One of the things we learned was that our true passion was for clothing and we didn't need a storefront with 2,000 sq. ft to allow people to enjoy our finds. We're working on updating our website for shopping to compliment our thriving Etsy store (link in bio) We'll be open Thursday – Sunday in July, here's the plan: July 5th – 8th: Everything in store (including fixtures) 10% off July 12th – 15th: Everything in store (including fixtures) 20% off July 19th – 22nd: Everything in store (including fixtures) 30% off July 26th – 29th: Everything in store (including fixtures) 40% off Thanks for all the support and hope to see you soon. Stay Toasty, Vintage Toast
In a heartfelt Instagram post at the beginning of July, the store announced it would be closing it’s brick and mortar location to focus on their thriving Etsy store. The final hours of the store are this week, Thursday through Sunday and offering discounts of 40% everything in the store.
Although the sales have been going on all month, the store still has some great pieces up for grabs, including the fixtures throughout the space.
Once Vintage Toast is officially out, a new business will call 3284 N. High Street home. Lacquer Gallery, a female-run salon will be setting up shop sometime this fall. The first location for the salon is located at 448 W. 3rd Ave and offers a huge variety of services. The Clintonville location, however, will offer only nail and esthetic services.
“We are STOKED to announce we are expanding to Clintonville,” shared Lacquer Gallery on IG. “We have THE BEST clientele in the city + can’t wait to meet more of our Clintonville babes!”
