Well, friends, you’re in luck. Columbus is in full summer swing, which means there are tons of festivals and events happening all around the city. From family-friendly parties to adults-only wine nights, you can stop searching for your weekend plans.

Dublin Irish Festival

What: Ready to let your shamrock shine? The Dublin Irish Festival is a 3-day celebration of all things Celtic, with live music, food, vendors, family-friendly fun, whiskey tastings, and more. Tickets to the festival are $15.
When: August 2-4
Where: Coffman Park, 5600 Post Rd, Dublin, OH

Summer Flea

What: Head down to Seventh Son for Summer Flea. You can visit and shop a variety of vendors, including ceramics, plants, textiles, vintage clothing, records, jewlery, artwork, woodwork, leather goods, and more. There will also be food, beverages from Seventh Son, and music. Don’t forget to leave the pups at home for this one and to keep your adult beverages inside and on the patio! Proceeds from the event will benefit Planned Parenthood of Greater Ohio.
When: August 4 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

2019 All Ohio Balloon Fest

What: Want to see something spectacular? Check out the 2019 All Ohio Balloon Fest. There will be live music, food trucks, drinks, vendors, kids activities, a flight simulator, visitors from the zoo, helicopter and plane rides, and of course, hot air balloons.
When: August 8-10

Frontstage Fest 2019

What: Join CD 102.5 for an epic parking lot festival. The line-up includes Ghost Soul Trio, Carried By 6, Label Me Lecter, Sunwave, Sega Genocide, Kashis Keyz, Good Reverend, Nothin’, Mery Steel, TrigNo, Sam Craighead, Girl Fox, Jo’el Monroe, Crooked Spines, Marcy Mays, and Wharm. Tickets are $12.
When: Saturday, August 10, 2019 at 1 PM – 11 PM

Sunday Funday in German Village

What: Want to support some fantastic local businesses? Head to German Village for Sunday Funday. Visitors can stroll, shop, and dine throughout German Village, where area businesses will be participating in the event with deals and specials.
When: August 11 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Taste the Future 2019

What: Taste the Future is a culinary showcase of Central Ohio’s best in food. This tasty fundraiser helps support students at Columbus State. There will be chefs from around the city showing off their culinary skills, plus you’ll get to eat delicious food. There will also be live music and food artists. Tickets are $100 per person.
When: Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at 6 PM – 9 PM
Where: Columbus State, 550 E. Spring St.

Columbus Food Truck Festival 2019

What: The Columbus Food Truck Festival is back for the 9th year. The fest is free and fun for all ages. You’ll find all of the yummiest trucks in the city on the Scioto Mile and at Bicentennial Park for this one-of-a-kind food celebration.
When: August 16-17 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

WonderBus Music & Arts Festival

What: Debuting this year, WonderBus is a two-day music and arts festival being held at the Ohio State University. Artists performing include: Walk The Moon, Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, The Revivalists, X Ambassadors, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Bishop Briggs, Jenny Lewis, Andrew McMahon In The Wilderness, Chelsea Cutler, Mt. Joy, and many others. Tickets start at $89.
When: August 17-18

Shawshank Redemption 25th Anniversary Celebration

What: Head up to Mansfield for a weekend of remembering the iconic film, The Shawshank Redemption. If you want all of the details about this massive event, you can check out our feature here. It’s going to be a good one, folks.

Where: Various locations around Mansfield, Ohio

Prints & Pints 2019

What: 15 artists collide with 15 breweries in a screen printing exhibition. Posters will be for sale for $20 and each brewery will be featuring a beer. The event is free to attend, but there are some early admission tickets available for $30, which includes one poster and one beer.
When: Saturday, August 17, 2019 at 12 PM – 9 PM
Where: The Daily Growler, 702 S High St.

Flavored Nation – Columbus

What: Celebrate the 50 dishes that make America delicious while you eat your way around the country at Flavored Nation. Tickets are $45 in advance and $55 at the door on the day of the event. Your ticket includes one-day admission, 10 food samples, and 6 drink samples.
When: August 24-25 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

BrewDog Annual General Mayhem

What: BrewDog’s Anual general Mayhem is a beer, music and food festival held at their USA HQ in Canal Winchester. Performers include Manchester Orchestra, Caamp, Waxahatchee, Diet Cig, Kevin Devine, Yowler, Van Dale, Souther, Counterfeit Madison & Parker Louis. Tickets start at $30.
When: Saturday, August 24, 2019 at 11 AM – 10 PM
Where: BrewDog USA, 96 Gender Road, Canal Winchester, Ohio 43110

Columbus Summer Wine Festival 2019

What: Ready to get a little wine tipsy? The Columbus Summer Wine Festival is a day-long celebration of wine, artisan exhibits, food trucks, and live music. Admission starts at $20 and will include samplings, entertainment, and access to the festival grounds. Guests must be 21 and over to participate in the samplings.
When: August 24 from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Where: Columbus Commons, 160 S High St.

Obetz Zucchinifest

What: The Obetz Zucchinifest is a free, four-day festival held at Fortress Obetz during Labor Day weekend. Say goodbye to summer with live entertainment, rides, games, delicious food, and shopping.
